Inventing rules out of the blue is not fun, even if they do make sense, or they do not make any sense, The OCG ruling for Diamond Dude effect is not applicable for double spell, because the two works differently, Diamond dude effect is to used the effect of spell card, so you would not pay the 2000 life points, that is why it does not work. While for double spell effect his, you would used the opponent's spell card in their graveyard so you still pay the 2000 life points for final countdown when double spell resolve, so that is why it should work.[[Special:Contributions/96.44.92.186|96.44.92.186]] ([[User talk:96.44.92.186|talk]]) 19:37, May 12, 2013 (UTC)

If I activated "Double spell" and target my opponent's "finial countdown" in his graveyard, would it start counting turns for me?96.44.92.186 (talk) 14:47, May 7, 2013 (UTC)

"If I activated "Double Spell" to target my opponent's "Final Countdown" in the Graveyard - would I get the turn counts or not?"
From what I know, I would say Yes - only if you managed to negating or made your opponent failed to complete the effect of "Final Countdown" since it will end before your do. --iFredCat 14:57, May 7, 2013 (UTC)
Yes. Forum:Diamond dude/ final countdown verifies this. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 20:57, May 7, 2013 (UTC)

For the Ruling of Diamond dude vs finial countdown it shows this for OCG only.

If you use the effect of "Gold Sarcophagus" with "Destiny HERO - Diamond Dude", the selected card will be banished but you will not be able to add it to your hand because "Gold Sarcophagus" was never activated. ◾ If "Final Countdown" is sent to the Graveyard with "Destiny HERO - Diamond Dude," nothing happens, since "Final Countdown" was not 'activated'.

It also stated that does ruling are not applicable to TCG yet.96.44.92.186 (talk) 13:14, May 12, 2013 (UTC)

Fine, if you want to confirming that - go E-mail Konami and let's see if they approved the same. --iFredCat 13:33, May 12, 2013 (UTC)

I do not want to get it confirm to TCG because I like it the way it is currently, and also to get it confirm to TCG is not my responsibility, since I only play yu-gi-oh! Trading Card Game for fun.96.44.92.186 (talk) 14:32, May 12, 2013 (UTC)
