- The English name of this card was named after Roger Slifer, a 4kids Entertainment employee.
- In Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Series, this card was called "Slifer the Executive Producer".
- The Japanese name of this card is roughly translated to "Sky Dragon of Osiris". The Japanese version of the anime's card has "Saint Dragon - The God of Osiris" as the card name. Osiris is the Egyptian god of life, death, and fertility.
