Booster 1 was released on March 1, 1999, becoming one of the very first Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG booster packs. Like other cards printed early on in the game, the cards have no printed set numbers, and lack the distinctive holographic "Eye of Anubis" in the lower right-hand corner of each card. Of the 40 cards in Booster 1, eleven ("Ryu-Kishin", "Dig Beak", "Oscillo Hero #2", "Blue Medicine", "Raimei", "Dark Hole", "Fissure", "Legendary Sword", "Book of Secret Arts", "Happy Lover", and "Power of Kaishin") have since been released in the English Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG. As with a lot of cards though, lots of these cards have been included in the video games. This set is a partial blend of cards released in Volume 1 and previously unreleased cards. | ||
