- This card can be searched by "Bonding - D2O", "Bonding - DHO", "Atlantean Dragoons", and other generic searchers.
- This card's last effect can set up the Xyz Summon of any non-Type or Attribute-specific Rank 8 Xyz Monster.
- Combine this card's two effects with "All-Out Attacks" or "Final Attack Orders" for an OTK.
- Summon "Cluster" before / during your Main Phase 1 while your opponent controls at least two monsters in ATK position. Tribute it to summon 2 "Water Dragons", Xyz summon a Rank 8 "Galaxy-Eyes" monster using them, Xyz summon "Number 95: Galaxy-Eyes Dark Matter Dragon" on top of it, and finally detach a material to let it attack 0 ATK monsters twice for an OTK.
