According to the TCG previously official ruling, If Storm caller, or another psychic-type while storm caller is face-up, destroy apprentice magician by battle, if you chose to send it to the top of the owners deck, it's says apprentice magician effect does not activated. If grave Protector is face-up on the field, and slate warrior is destroy by battle, the effect of slate warrior is still applied even though slate warrior is shuffle to the owner's deck.

1. Would apprentice magician effect still applied when it is destroy by battle while grave protector is face-up on the field?

2. Would slate warrior effect still be applied if it is chosen to be send to the top of the deck after being destroy by battle by a psychic-type monster, while storm caller is face-up on the field?96.44.92.186 (talk) 12:54, June 8, 2013 (UTC)

Both monsters don't say "when this card is destroyed by battle and send to the Graveyard: Blah..." therefore they can be activated reckless where they went to, even Banished Zone. --iFredCat 13:04, June 8, 2013 (UTC)
