  • This card's name is derived from "Inoshikachō", a card combination in the Hanafuda card game, Koi-Koi.
    • This card's name is a portmanteau of the Synchro Materials that were used to Synchro Summon it in the anime: "Ino" (猪 Inoshishi, literal "Boar", from "Cardian - Hagi ni Inoshishi"), "Shika" (鹿 Shika, literal "Deer", from "Cardian - Momiji ni Shika") and "Chō" (蝶 Chō, literal "Butterfly", from "Cardian - Botan ni Cho"). Also, this card's appearance reflects this Cardian's name, where Inoshikacho wears a boar armor (Ino), the deer's antlers (Shika) and the butterfly-shaped shield (Cho).
