Card Trivia:Cyber-Stein
- "Cyber-Stein" and its Japanese name meaning "Devil Franken" are both named after Frankenstein. In the novel, Victor Frankenstein revives a dead body comprised of body parts from several different bodies, much in the same way Fusion Monsters are comprised of Fusion Material monsters, explaining why Cyber-Stein summons Fusion Monsters.
- Before Upperdeck Day only 18 of the SJC-EN001 card exist in the world. $20,000 USD was bid for a "Cyber-Stein" SJC-EN001 card on ebay, but the bidder didn't pay. The card was eventually resold for approximately $7,000 USD.
- "Cyber-Stein" was the first monster to be banned during the middle of a banlist cycle, and not during the new banlist announcements.
- The Dark Beginning 1 version "Flame Swordsman" has its name misprinted as "Cyber-Stein".
- This card has the largest Life Point cost to activate of any card, barring cards with variable Life Point costs such as Solemn Judgement and Backs to the Wall.
