- Akaoni, also called the Red Ogre, is the messenger of Enma Daïoh, the god who judges the dead in Japanese Mythology.
- This card's effect is similar to the effect of Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Boundary.
- This card also looks alot like Abaki, It might even be a Kid form of him.
