- This card's name is derived from "Inoshikachō", a card combination in the Hanafuda card game, Koi-Koi.
- This card's name is a portmanteau of the Synchro Materials that were used to Synchro Summon it in the anime: "Ino" (猪 Inoshishi, literal "Boar", from "Cardian - Hagi ni Inoshishi"), "Shika" (鹿 Shika, literal "Deer", from "Cardian - Momiji ni Shika") and "Chō" (蝶 Chō, literal "Butterfly", from "Cardian - Botan ni Cho").
