- This card can be searched with "Offering to the Immortals".
- This card can be Tribute Summoned with one Tribute using "Double Coston".
- You can use "Pinch Hopper"'s effect to Special Summon this card from your hand. However if there is no field spell card active at the time, as a game mechanic this card will not remain on the field it will be destroyed.
- You can use "Gigaplant"'s effect to Special Summon this card from your hand or Graveyard.
- You can use cards such as "Scapegoat", "Metabo Globster" (if it was used as tribute material for "Uru"), "Stray Lambs", and others to provide tributes for "Uru"'s effect.
- You can use "Star Blast" to reduce this card's Level to summon it without Tribute, with 1 Tribute or make it eligible for "Tribute Doll".
- This card can be combined with "Catapult Turtle" or "Cannon Soldier" to steal your opponent's monsters, then tribute them for added damage.
- Use "Light of Intervention" so all of your opponent's monsters will have to be played face-up, allowing "Uru" to take control of them.
- Special Summon "Grinder Golem" on your opponent's side field and use this card to take control of it by tributing a "Grinder Token".
- Use "Vengeful Servant" to damage your opponent when the controlled monster returns to your opponent's side of the field.
- Tribute Summon this card with "Hardened Armed Dragon" so that it will not be destroyed, even by its own effect.
