Does Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind halve the original or the modified attack and defense of the targeted monster?
ie: My opponent has Caius the Shadow Monarch on the field, with the field spell Mystic Plasma Zone also activated, I then summon Gale, when I halve Caius' attack am I cutting his original 2400 thus making it 1200 plus MPZ for a total of 1700 or am I cutting in half his 2900 thus making it 1450?
- I know how a modifier is played after the card's attack is halved, by the rulings page of Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind but gale doesn't say wether it's halving the original or the modified attack and defense.

Gale halves the current attack. See ruling:
"If "Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind" targets a "Sangan" affected by "Rush Recklessly" (1700 ATK), its ATK will become 850."~-213.123.215.233 15:28, February 25, 2010 (UTC)
