"Gem Dragon" series?

Should this card, along with "Luster Dragon", "Luster Dragon 2", and "Ruby Dragon" be part of this new series? It makes sense since their Japanese names are "Diamond Dragon", "Sapphire Dragon", and "Emerald Dragon" respectively.
