- This card's name comes from the Japanese sound effect used in anime and manga "go go go go" which is used when the atmosphere is threatening or menacing.
- Ironically, his armor and big body structure should have contributed a higher DEF - yet his DEF is only at an average 1500.
- This card is the first defensive monster of Yuma, like "Giant Soldier of Stone" is the first defensive monster of Yugi. They are the same Type and Attribute. Also, this card has 500 more ATK and 500 less DEF that "Giant Soldier of Stone".
- In the anime, when this card is in Defense Position, the blue parts of its arms and legs are brown.
- This card, and Ganbara Knight are the only cards to be used in an unsuccsessful Xyz summon.
