- This card is a more powerful form of "Artorigus, King of the Noble Knights".
- "Excaliburn"'s article on Konami's blog implies that acquiring "Excaliburn" allowed "Artorigus" to become more powerful. This interpretation is supported by "Excaliburn"'s effect allowing "Artorigus, King of the Noble Knights" to perform an Xyz Evolution into this card.
- This monster has exactly 200 ATK and DEF more than "Artorigus, King of the Noble Knights", which in turn has 200 ATK and DEF more than "Noble Knight Artorigus".
- This card's name may be poorly worded, as the name "Sacred Noble Knight of King Artorigus" suggests that the monster is not actually "King Artorigus" but rather a "Sacred Noble Knight" under the command of "King Artorigus". However, the monster on the card is clearly "King Artorigus" himself.
