- This card's name comes from the element Cobalt, which its compounds often produce distinctive deep blue colors.
- This card is the only Dark World monster to not have at least one effect involving discarding cards. This excludes "Colorless, Chaos King of Dark World", whose anime effect was never shown.
- This is currently the only Dark World monster to be shown in the anime that is not a real card.
