  • This card is used several times by Joey Wheeler. It first appeared in Joey's duel with Espa Roba, who was cheating in the duel (Espa's younger brothers were on top of a nearby building sneaking peeks at Joey's cards. They mistook Joey's Skull Dice as a second Graceful Dice.). When Espa attacked Joey's "Swordsman" with "Fiend Megacyber", Joey activated "Graceful Dice" to increase his "Swordsman of Landstar"'s ATK, but he got only a three which in turn only tripled his monster's ATK. However to Espa's shock, Joey activated this card to decrease Espa's monster's ATK. Joey got a five from this card's effect which meant Espa's monster lost one-fifth of its ATK, allowing "Swordsman of Landstar" to destroy "The Fiend Megacyber". Joey then pointed out that because of how he held his cards, Espa knew he had two dice cards, but he couldn't tell which dice cards he had in his hand.
  • Joey next used this card in his duel with Weevil. He activates it when "Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth" attacks "Parasite Paracide". However he got a two on the roll which meant that "Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth"'s ATK was halved. Joey then activated "Graceful Dice" and he got a four on the roll which meant "Parasite Paracide"'s ATK was quadrupled, allowing "Parasite Paracide" to counterattack and destroy "Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth".
  • This card was used again in Joey's duel with Mako. After Mako forced "Alligator's Sword" out of the protection of "Fairy Box" using "Umi, he had his "Amphibian Beast attack "Alligator's Sword", but Joey used this card in response. Joey got a four on the roll which meant that "Amphibian Beast" lost one-fourth of its ATK, allowing "Alligator's Sword" to counterattack and destroy "Amphibian Beast".
  • It was next used in Yugi's duel with Joey who was possessed by Marik. Joey activated this card and "Graceful Dice" in response to "Beast of Gilfer" attacking "Panther Warrior". Yugi used "De-Spell" to destroy "Graceful Dice", preventing "Panther Warrior" from having its ATK increased. Joey then used this card to weaken Yugi's monster. He only got a two on the roll which meant "Beast of Gilfer"'s ATK was cut in half. "Beast of Gilfer"'s attack then continued, destroying "Panther Warrior" as "Beast of Gilfer" was still stronger than "Panther Warrior" even with its ATK halved.
  • This card was next used in Joey's duel with Johnson. When "Kamionwizard" attacked "Panther Warrior", Joey activated this card. Joey got a six on the roll, but Johnson cheats by changing the result to a one, leaving "Kamionwizard"'s ATK unchanged.
  • This card was next used in the Battle Royal duel between Yugi, Joey, Kaiba, and Yami Marik. Joey used this card when "Dark Jeroid" attacked "Gearfried the Iron Knight" who was weakened by "Dark Jeroid"'s effect. Joey got a two on the roll, which meant that "Dark Jeroid"'s ATK is cut in half. However Kaiba then used "Shrink" to cut "Gearfried"'s ATK in half. "Dark Jeroid"'s attack then successfully destroyed "Gearfried".
  • This card was used in Joey's second duel with Mai. Joey used this card when "Harpie's Pet Dragon" attacked "The Fiend Megacyber". Joey got a two on the roll which meant that "Harpie's Pet Dragon"'s ATK is cut in half. This allowed "The Fiend Megacyber" to counterattack and destroy "Harpie's Pet Dragon".
  • This card was used in Joey's third duel with Mai. Joey used this card when Mai used the "Harpie Lady Sister" that was powered up by the effect of "Blue Flame Swordsman" to attack "Flame Swordsman". However Joey only got a two on the roll, meaning that the ATK of the attacking "Harpie Lady Sister" is halved. The attack then continued, destroying "Flame Swordsman".
  • This card can be seen in Joey's hand during the battle royal in 122.
  • This card divides the attack power of an enemy monster by the number rolled in the anime as opposed to the reduction of attack power by the number rolled times 100 in the TCG.
  • In addition, the Japanese anime version of this card was a Quick-Play Spell Card as opposed to the TCG version.
