Card Trivia:Monster Reborn
- This card has six counterparts: "Monster Reincarnation", "Miraculous Rebirth", "Symbol of Heritage", "Symbols of Duty", "Xyz Reborn", and "Shuffle Reborn".
- This card was Forbidden for seven formats before becoming Limited once more, the longest duration of any card before "Dark Hole", "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning", "Tsukuyomi", "Magician of Faith" (in the TCG), and "Cyber-Stein" (in the OCG) surpassed it with nine, twelve, thirteen, and sixteen, respectively.
- "Call of the Grave" and "Call of Darkness" specifically counter this card. As a result, "Monster Reborn" is the only Yu-Gi-Oh! card with 2 counter-cards mentioning it by name.
- The "Ankh" in the Japanese artwork of "Monster Reborn" can be seen in the "Tablet of Lost Memories" on Priest Seto's side.
- This card has an anime-only counterpart effect-wise, "Rebirth Tablet"; both cards also feature an ankh on their artworks (albeit this card only does in its Japanese artwork.)
- The "Ankh", also known as Key of Life, is the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic character that read "life" and it represents the concept of eternal life, which reflects this card's effect.
- This card was initially one of the most used cards in Yu-Gi-Oh! media, although it slowly began to lose it's spotlight due to it's real-life forbidden status. It appears in most duels of the original Yu-Gi-Oh!, and was a common card in GX. It then disappeared completely in 5D's, but rose again as one of Yuma's signature cards in Zexal. It currently has only one usage in ARC-V. This puts "Monster Reborn" behind "Mystical Space Typhoon" and "Polymerization" as the cards with the most appearances in different animes.
