K Series
"K Series" is an unofficial name given to a group of nine cards which were offered by Konami to replace counterfeit cards which had been distributed by Upper Deck Entertainment, an action that contributed to the dissolution of the partnership between the companies.
The counterfeit cards were approximately 600,000 Ultimate Rare copies of cards that were only intended to be Rare, Super Rare, or Ultra Rare, while the replacement K Series cards were the intended rarities. In addition, the replacement program was never generally announced, was only advertised to people who called into Konami support and asked about the different quality of the counterfeit cards, and was only available for a very short period; these factors all meant that very few K Series cards were distributed.
