  • The first kanji, 綱, means "rope", and is normally read as "tsuna" (つな); here it is being force-read as the similar sounding "chuna" (チュナ), a close approximation of the Japanese term for Tuner monsters (チューナー, chūnā), referencing the monsters needed to use this card's effect.
  • The first two kanji together, 綱引, mean "tug-of-war"; taking the previous point into account, the meaning becomes something like "Tuner-pulling" or "Tuner-drawing", referencing this card's activation condition.
