- This card can be searched by "Assault Mode Activate", "Assault Reboot", "Psi-Reflector", "The Melody of Awakening Dragon", "Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms", "Starliege Seyfert", "Bystial Magnamhut", "Armed Dragon Thunder LV5", "Draconnection", "Blue-Eyes Abyss Dragon", and other generic searchers.
- If this card is in your hand, use "Magical Mallet" or any other card that could shuffle this card back into the Deck, since "Assault Mode Activate" only Special Summons the "/Assault Mode" monster from the Deck.
- Use "Hero's Rule 2" to protect this card while in the Graveyard from cards like "D.D. Crow", "Soul Release", "The Transmigration Prophecy", "Pot of Benevolence" or "Crevice Into the Different Dimension".
- Using this card with "Necrovalley", "Imperial Iron Wall" or "Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer" ensures that the opponent won't banish it from the Graveyard.
- Be careful of an opponent negating this card's End Phase effect of bringing itself back (e.g., with "Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon"). Because it was not "destroyed on the field", you will not get a "Stardust Dragon" back. Additionally, being in the Graveyard already, this card lacks the ability to protect itself, leaving it in a very fragile state.
