TCG Rulings
- If the Special Summoned "Jinzo" is flipped face-down, it is not destroyed in the End Phase. Even if the "Jinzo" is flipped face-up afterwards, it is not destroyed in the End Phase.[1]
- If you send "Jinzo" and "Jinzo - Returner" to the Graveyard at the same time, with "Future Fusion," etc., you can activate the effect of "Jinzo - Returner." If you send multiple copies "Jinzo" and "Jinzo - Returner," the effect of each copy of "Jinzo - Returner" can be activated and will create a Chain (see the rulings for "Simultaneous Effects" in the FAQ).[1]
Judge List Rulings
- If you send "Jinzo - Returner" to the Graveyard to pay the cost to activate an effect, you will not be able to activate its effect.[2]
- If you discard "Jinzo - Returner" to pay for "Dark Grepher's" second effect, you would not be able to activate its effect. If, however, you decide to send 1 "Jinzo - Returner" from your Deck to your Graveyard using "Dark Grepher's" effect, you would be able to activate the "Jinzo - Returner's" effect because there are no further effects remaining on the Chain.[2]
OCG Rulings
- For "Foolish Burial", after you send the card to the Graveyard, you shuffle the Deck. However, this is not treated as the effect of a card, so the last thing to resolve is sending the card from the Deck to the Graveyard. Because of this, you can activate the effect of "Jinzo - Returner" or "Peten the Dark Clown" if it is sent from the Deck to the Graveyard by "Foolish Burial".[3]
