- It is usually a good idea to put this card in the Side Deck instead of in the main deck. If you are against the wrong deck, this card is pretty much worthless. If you know you are using a Deck which can be shut down by specific Countinuous Traps, you might want to side this card in during the second duel even if your opponent does not have any in their deck, as they might side in said counter cards.
- This is great against Anti-Meta decks, considering the number of Continuous Traps they run, such as "Royal Oppression", "Mask of Restrict", "Skill Drain" and "Imperial Iron Wall".
- Use this card in a "Skill Drain" Deck. You can get rid of your opponent's "Royal Decree" and use this card to Synchro Summon "Stardust Dragon". Since Stardust Dragon's effect resolves in the graveyard, its effect will not be negated so you can prevent your Skill Drain from being destroyed by your opponent.
- This card can be used against "Trap Monsters".
- You can put a face-up trap card onto your opponent's field by activating "Embodiment of Apophis" or "Zoma the Spirit" and then use "Creature Swap".
- Use in a Dark based deck to remove cards like "Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror".
- You can get rid of your opponent's annoying "Gravity Bind" with this card.
- This card can sometimes slow or empower an opponent's "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames" deck.
- This card works amazing in a Gladiator Beast deck, since "Royal Oppression" shuts down Gladiator Beasts tagging in ability.
