Ancient Gear/Gadget Deck
This deck can either stall until an OTK (sometimes two-turn kill) can be pulled off using Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem and Power Bond or it can be a Beatdown Deck, depending upon the draw. The Gadgets are a very good way to stall when combined with Ultimate Offering and Light of Intervention is useful because it allows a gadget to be normal summoned in face up defense position, adding the next gadget to your hand. Geartown is also a key card because monsters like Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon and Ancient Gear Golem can be special summoned with only one tribute and Ancient Gear Beast and Ancient Gear Engineer can be summoned with none at all. Geartown works well with Ancient Gear Castle because with one counter it can summon any Ancient Gear monster. It also works well with Malevolent Catastrophe because Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon can be summoned right after the opponent declares an attack using Geartown's graveyard effect. Using one Geartown to destroy another Geartown is another way to use this effect, but be sure not to let it miss the timing (see Card Rulings:Geartown) by playing it face up. Since spell and trap cards cannot be activated until the end of the damage step and Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem has the Piercing ability, the main weaknesses in this deck are continuous/field cards like Spirit Barrier, Sanctuary in the Sky, and Clock Tower Prison. These cards can all stop battle damage,which stops the OTK. If Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem is summoned with Power Bond and Limiter Removal (17,600 Attack ftw) is then chained to the attack, a Kuriboh is one of the only cards that can save your opponent.

Extra Deck:
DARK Skill Drain
This deck is pretty easy to duel with. Get Skill Drain out as fast as possible by running 3 of them and 3 A Cat of Ill Omens (Necrovalley not necessary). Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast is key because it can be summoned without tribute and not have its attack halved. Giant Kozaky is also useful, but the graveyard effect is a big drawback. At least one Barrel Behind the Door is recommended to have this effect work to your advantage. Zombyra the Dark and Giant Orc are not as powerful, but they are much more reliable if Skill Drain is not on the field. Be sure to protect Skill Drain with cards like Imperial Custom and Fake Trap.
