Halldor explains to Yusei if he were to enter his Battle Phase while "Fenrir" is face-up, all of Yusei's monsters will switch into Attack Position which would activate this card's effect. He also explains that if "Fenrir the Nordic Wolf" were to deal Battle Damage to him, Yusei would take the same amount of Battle Damage too. Yusei later banishes this card from the field to Special Summon "[[D.D. Sprite]]". This in turn prevents Halldor's Nordic Combo from working like he had expected.

  • In episode 129, Halldor uses this card during his Turbo Duel against Yusei Fudo. He Special Summons this card to Yusei's side of the field via its own effect as he controlled a Divine-Beast type monster. Halldor explains to Yusei when this card is switched into Attack Position Yusei will receive 3000 damage. He then activates "Gleipnir, the Fetters of Fenrir" to add "Fenrir the Nordic Wolf" from his Deck to his hand. He then Special Summons "Fenrir the Nordic Wolf" to Yusei's side of the field via its own effect in order to deter Yusei from attacking.
