Syrus When "[[activateAncient Gear Golem]]s it from his [[hand]] via " attacks "[[Jetroid]]'s" [[Card effect|effect]], deflecting Syrus uses the attack effect of "[[Ancient Gear Golem]]Jetroid"to activate this card from his hand, winning allowing Syrus to negate the duel. Oddly, attack and inflict damage to Dimitri equal to the effect ATK of "Ancient Gear Golem" would usually prevent this, which wins Syrus the Duel.
* In [[Yu-Gi-Oh! GX - Episode 082|episode 82]], [[Bastion Misawa]] [[Set]]s this card during his Duel against [[Chazz Princeton]], but did not activated it. Bastion could have won if he had played this card when "[[Combat Scissors Beetle]]" attacked "[[Plasma Warrior Eitom]]", however Sartorius mentally convinced him to not play it if he wished to join the Society and this ultimately made him choose not to activate this card to win the duel.
