** In the manga however Marik's plan was more clear since this card's original manga effect was that it destroys all cards the opponent has one the field. And since "[[Coffing_Seller]]" give the opponent 700 damage for either monsters or spell and traps in the manga, he wanted to send all cards to Joey's grvaeyard to inflict 3500 damage to him and win that way (Joey has 3300 LP at this point).
