- In episode 91, Shark uses this card during his Duel against Rio Kastle. He Xyz Summons this card by overlaying "Black Ray Lancer" (who was treated as a Level 3 monster and two monsters for the Xyz Summon via "Xyz Crown") and "Drill Barnacle" (who was treated as two monsters for the Xyz Summon via "Land of Frozen Flames"). Shark then activates this card's effect to detach an Overlay Unit and increase this card's ATK by the original number of Xyz Materials required to Xyz Summon it minus the number of Xyz Materials currently attached to this card × 1000 (which was 3000). This card then attacks and destroys "Ice Princess Zereort", winning Shark the Duel.
