"Wicked Rebirth":

In the anime, the Synchro Monsters are treated as if they were Synchro Summoned and kept their effects.

In episode 24 Akiza Izinski used this to revive "Black Rose Dragon". She activated its effect, which Yusei negated with "Stardust Dragon's" effect. During the End Phase "Black Rose Dragon" got revived again due to "Wicked Rebirth's" effect and "Stardust Dragon" got revived using its own effect.
