- This card can be Summoned with "Bahamut Shark". Even having no Xyz Materials, it can still activate its second effect.
- Being a Rank 2 WATER monster, this card's first effect can activate the effect of "Atlantean Heavy Infantry" (if that monster is detached), and you can discard "Atlantean Dragoons", "Marksman" or "Heavy Infantry" as cost to this card's second effect and activate their effects.
- Putting this card in an "Ojama" deck can be useful as this card will go up to 3000 ATK with "Ojama Country" on the field. Also, this card can search more of the "Ojama" trio by discarding "Ojamagic".
- This card is easy to Summon in "Frog" variants, usually using two copies of "Ronintoadin" or a Special Summoned "Swap Frog".
- Activate this card's second effect during a battle in which your opponent activates a card that raises the ATK of his/her monster, like "Forbidden Chalice", "Horn of the Phantom Beast", etc, or alongside with an effect like the one of "Mist Valley Soldier".
