- This card can be searched by "Trap Trick", "Trap Tracks", "Lady Labrynth of the Silver Castle", "Lilith, Lady of Lament", "Triple Tactics Thrust", "Angel of Blue Tears", "Farewelcome Labrynth", "Labrynth Set-Up", and other generic searchers.
- You can attack with an "Alien", activate "Crop Circles", send it to the Graveyard, then Special Summon another copy, and attack with it. This is especially potent when the "Alien" would end being destroyed, such as if it were summoned by "Mysterious Triangle" or "Alien Ammonite".
- If your opponent has a stronger monster on the field, you can ram into it with "Alien Warrior", giving it 2 A-Counters, destroy it with "Mysterious Triangle", summoning another Level 4 "Alien" like "Alien Shocktrooper", attack directly with your new monster, then activate this card to attack again with a new monster.
- The "Alien" archetype specialize in taking control of your opponent's monsters, through cards like "Brainwashing Beam" and "Alien Hypno". You can use this card to turn that into an even larger "Alien" swarm with your opponent paying the price for it.
- This card can be used to "save" your own monsters if they are being targeted by an opponent's card effect, such as "Sakuretsu Armor", by sending it to the Graveyard and summoning another in its place.
- It can also be used simply to make sure you have the right "Alien" on the field that you need. If you summon an "Alien Hypno" with this card, you are free to use up your Normal Summon for the next turn to use its effect.
- You can use cards like "Rainbow Life" or "Prime Material Dragon" in case you fail.
- Remember that this card cannot be activated if there are no legal targets in your deck at the time of activation.

- This card is very effective with the Level 4 "Alien" monsters, not only because they are so numerous, but because this card allows you to easily get one into the Graveyard for the Synchro Summon of "Cosmic Fortress Gol'gar" with "Alien Ammonite" and not lose field advantage.
- Keep this card in mind when you are building your deck. A single monster for another monster is quite useful to get certain other monsters out.

- Level 2 "Alien" monsters are "Alien Grey" and "Alien Infiltrator".
- Level 3 "Alien" monsters are "Alien Dog" and "Alien Mars".
