- With Imperial Iron Wall, you can recycle this card non-stop, unless your opponent returns it back to your hand or Deck.
- Use Foolish Burial to send this card to the graveyard directly from your Deck, and then, when your opponent attacks, you can Special Summon it easily.
- This card can be useful in a Stall Deck.
- With its Special Summon ability, you can more easily Xyz Summon "Super Dreadnought Cannon Express Gustaph Max".
- Because this card is special summoned in defense mode, it is relatively easy to overcome this monster by battle on the replay, and it's very likely the opponent would want to destroy it before it switches to attack mode on the following turn. To make sure it survives and preform a surprising reversal, try using Recklessness to shift to attack mode and deal some burn damage.
- With this card and Safe Zone, you can create a targeting lock at the expense of it not being able to attack directly. Since it prevents your opponent from attacking other monsters, this is not a crippling setback. The only common cards that break this lock are Black Rose Dragon, Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, and Heavy Storm (less common ones include Gigantes and Genesis Star God, Sophia).
- You can easily Tribute Summon this card by using the tokens created by Photon Sanctuary.
