- This card can be searched by "Magician's Circle", "Medallion of the Ice Barrier", "Shock Troops of the Ice Barrier" and "Chaos-End Master".
- You can use this card to protect your Ice Barrier monsters when you active cards like "Dark Hole" or "Torrential Tribute".
- Special Summon this card with "Magic Triangle of the Ice Barrier" and "Magical Dimension".
- This cards is used well with "Cryomancer of the Ice Barrier", as "Cryomancer of the Ice Barrier" stops Level 4 and higher monsters from attacking, and "Dai-sojo" prevents "Ice Barrier" monsters from being destroyed by card effects.
- Special Summon this card with "Call of the Haunted"; if "Call of the Haunted" is destroyed, this card will still remain on the field.
- Equip this card with "Mist Body", so this card (and your other Ice Barrier monsters) will not be destroyed by card effects and this card will not be destroyed by battle.
- In this case, watch out for cards like "Book of Moon", "Penguin Soldier" or any other card that could flip this card Face-down, return it to the hand or deck or banish.
