• The most powerful monsters you can use as Fusion Material Monsters are Valkyrion the Magna Warrior and Raviel, Lord of Phantasms\The Wicked Dreadroot", for a combined total of 7,500 ATK. Since neither can be Normal Summoned, you can sift them out of your deck quite quickly with Reasoning and Monster Gate or Magical Merchant, then use Dark Calling while they're in your Graveyard.

• Ultimate Obedient Fiend and Evil Hero Malicious Fiend are the second best options to use as the Fiend-type Material Monster.

• Or you can use weaker but more versatile monsters like "Fossil Tusker","Gigantes", "Goldd, Wu-Lord of Dark World", "Sillva, Warlord of Dark World" and "Evil Hero Malicious Edge". This will give you a backup plan if you don't get the pieces for the OTK.

• Combine "Evil Hero Dark Gaia" with "Ojama Trio". Since he forces all of your opponent's monsters into Attack Position, they will have no choice but to take the full ATK of "Dark Gaia".

• Use "Dark Fusion" to Summon this card, then use "Dark Calling" on the same Fusion Material Monsters you used from the Graveyard to summon another identical "Dark Gaia".

• Use Fusion Guard to send a powerful fiend-type fusion monster to the graveyard like Evil Hero Malicious Fiend. Then play Dark Calling to use that monster as a Fusion Material Monster.

• Use Rock Bombardment to send a Rock-type to the graveyard and do 500 of damage to your opponent. Then use Dark Calling to fuse that monster to summon Evil Hero Dark Gaia.

• Use the effect of "Evil Hero Infernal Gainer" on this card to make a very powerful monster that can attack twice per turn.

• When you have good Fusion Material Monsters on the field use Torrential Tribute and then Dark Calling. Then you attack your opponent directly with Evil Hero Dark Gaia this can easily lead to a finishing blow.

• A good combination with Evil Hero Dark Gaia is Multiple Piece Golem, because it's a rock-type 2600 ATK and it's made out of Big Piece Golem 2100 ATK also a rock-type so even if you can't summon Multiple Piece Golem Big Piece is a great Fusion Material Monster as well. Also, if you play this card in a deck where you also use Evil Hero Infernal Sniper you can also summon Elemental Hero Rampart Blaster, wich means you have another powerful monster on your side.

• This card is a good way to use monsters like Nuvia the Wicked and Armor Exe, which have good attack for their levels but are hard to keep out.

• If one were to fuse Armitael, Phantasm of Chaos with Valkyrion the Magna Warrior the the total attack would be a devastating 10,3500. But that is assuming they get Armitael out.
