- You can Fusion Summon this card by using "Dragon's Mirror".
- Combo this card with Painful Choice to get the Fusion Material Monsters you need
- Fill up your Graveyard quickly by using the effects of "Masked Dragon"/"Troop Dragon" in preparation to activate "Dragon's Mirror".
- Combo with "Return from the Different Dimension" afterwards to Special Summon the Fusion Material Monsters that were banished by "Dragon's Mirror".
- Combo "DNA Surgery" (declaring "Dragon-Type") with "Scapegoat" to allow easy access to Fusion Material Monsters.
- OR, you can forgo "Scapegoat" in the above combo and use your opponent's monsters if you use "Super Polymerization".
- Use DNA Transplant so it can't be destroyed by battle at all.
- you can Equip this card with Big Bang Shot or Fairy Meteor Crush so you can massive damage to your opponent no matter what Battle position their monsters are in.
- If you have Lord of D. on the field Five headed Dragon can't be targeted by spell trap or monster affects.
Traditional Format
- "Future Fusion" and "Painful Choice" can easily deposit Dragons into the Graveyard for the usage of "Dragon's Mirror".
- "Dimension Fusion" can be used to Summon the Fusion Material that got banished by "Dragon's Mirror".
- You can use "DNA surgery" along with "Super Polymerization" to summon 5-Headed dragon.(Use DNA surgery to change all monsters on the field to dragon type, then use super polymerization to on either your opponent's or your own monsters to bring out 5-Headed dragon.)(It is also very effective to use your opponent's monsters as fusion materials that way he or she won't have any monsters do defend from a direct attack.
