- This card can be searched via Miracle Jurassic Egg and Witch of the Black Forest.
- This can can Tribute Summoned with one Tribute using Flame Ruler.
- An alternate way of getting Jurrac Tyrannus out is to Special Summon Gilasaurus, Tribute it for "Big Evolution Pill", and Normal Summon this card. (Be careful with Gilasaurus's effect.)
- Black Ptera may be used as a Tribute repeatedly, as it returns to the owner's Hand after fueling Jurrac Tyrannus's effect. Combined with "Ultimate Offering", this can be done many times per turn.
- In Traditional Format, you can use Ronintoadin along with Substitoad and activate "DNA Surgery" in a "Frog" deck to increase this card's attack by 500 X the number of "Frog" monsters you have in your Deck.
