- This card can be searched by "Gazelle the King of Mythical Claws", "Sky Scourge Cidhels", "Lucent, Netherlord of Dark World", "Chaos Zone", "Imperial Princess Quinquery", "Rescue Ferret", and other generic searchers.
- Combo "Mefist the Infernal General" with "Robbin' Goblin", that way your opponent will discard 2 cards from his/her hand.
- Combo "Mefist the Infernal General" with "Earthquake".
- Be careful when using "Mefist the Infernal General" against decks that rely heavily on having cards in the Graveyard.
- "Soul Release" can help with that.
- Copy this card with "Hundred Eyes Dragon" to get a 3000 ATK Piercer that can discard from the opponent's hand.
