- This card can be searched via "Witch of the Black Forest".
- This Monster Card can be used for a possible OTK. When you Remove the Monster Cards from Play to Special Summon Rainbow Dark Dragon, try to remove at least two, such as The Dark Creator , Goldd, Wu-Lord of Dark World. Then activate Dimension Fusion. Then, attack. For more success, use Heavy Storm, Lightning Vortex, etc.
- After Summoning Rainbow Dark Dragon, activate Painful Choice/Burial from a Different Dimension to increase the number of the DARK monsters in your Graveyard
- Upon summoning Rainbow Dark Dragon, or using its effect select Necroface to remove cards from play from you and your opponents deck, and fuel a Deck Out
- When using Rainbow Dark Dragon's effect with Dark Magician of Chaos on the field, if you play Spell Economics and Dimension Fusion with Dark Magician of Chaos removed form the game it will return to the field. Then use Dark Magician of Chaos's effect to add Dimension Fusion back to your hand then use Rainbow Dark Dragon's effect to remove Dark Magician of Chaos from play. Then use Dimension Fusion to return Dark Magician of Chaos and use Rainbow Dark Dragon's effect to continually increase its attack.
- This Monster Card can be retrieved from your Graveyard by playing Recurring Nightmare.
- Send this to the graveyard with Armageddon Knight and then summon Cyberdark Dragon to increase its ATK by 4000.
- If you can destroy a Doomsday Horror, you should have at least 8 monsters to use Rainbow Dark Dragon's effect.
