• This card can be searched by "Pharaonic Advent", "The Despair Uranus", and other generic searchers.

• Combine this card with "Number 66: Master Key Beetle" to make both this card and that monster untargetable and indestructible.

• This card has maximum potential on a monster with a commanding effect that locks down your opponent's cards, such as "Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo" or "Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind". If said monster has low ATK/DEF stats, this card becomes even more useful.

• Use this card in combination with "Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En". This will create probably one of the most troublesome monsters for your opponent as it cannot be destroyed by card effect or battle and can negate cards that can destroy this card. Additionally, when this card is destroyed, you can destroy another "Six Samurai" monster instead by the other effect of "Shi En".

• This card would combo very well with "Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord". Simply by selecting your "Exodius", you can attack without fear in order to get its instant win condition. You can combine this with "Imperial Custom" in order to protect this card so that "Exodius" can't be stopped as easily, making it very hard for your opponent to counter as they literally would only have 5 or less turns to destroy these three cards before they lose.

• As the card art implies, this card is perfect for the "Gradius" series. Use it on cards like "Victory Viper XX03" and keep it from being destroyed. Additionally, you can use it with "Jade Knight" to give it even further immunity, or use the tokens created by other "Gradius" cards to bypass the downside to this card.

• This card is great in "Gladiator Beast" Decks for it will protect the monsters by battle and by card effect.

• Use this card with an attack-pulling monster like "Dupe Frog" or "Watthopper"; with them and this card, your opponent will have a hard time attacking any of your monsters.

• At times, this card can be useful for targeting an opponent's monster if this card is about to leave the field. This can also be deliberately set up with other cards, such as the Summoning procedure of "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames" and the effects of "Mist Valley Falcon", "Scrap Dragon", and "Blackwing - Zephyros the Elite".

• Use this card on "Naturia Bamboo Shoot" to make it immune to destruction (by card effects or by battle) and prevent its effect from being negated by "Effect Veiler". This will prevent your opponent from using Spell and Trap Cards again for the rest of the Duel, forcing them to use cards such as "Neo-Spacian Grand Mole" or "Breaker the Magical Warrior" to get rid of it. Use "Naturia Landoise" to prevent that.

• This card works well with "Magic Planter". Attach this card to an opponent's monster, then use "Magic Planter" on this card in order to draw 2 cards and destroy the monster.

• Equip this card to "White Dragon Ninja". This card protects it from card effect destruction and battle destruction, while "White Dragon Ninja" stops this card from being destroyed. The only way for the opponent to get rid of these two is to use a non-targeting return or banish effect such as "Guardian Sphinx", or to use "Skill Drain" to negate the effects of "White Dragon Ninja", remove its protection on this card, and then destroy this card.

• This card can be used in combination with "Herald of Perfection" and "Final Countdown" to win easily.

• This card is great within Lockdown Decks. Within Lockdown Decks it makes this card almost impossible to destroy and thus the monster that is being affected by said card is impossible to destroy.

• This card is great to use on your own monsters that already cannot be destroyed by card effects or Trap effects, since the targeted monster won't be destroyed if this card leaves the field. Some ideal monsters include, but are not necessarily limited to: "Ultimate Axon Kicker", "Exodia Necross", "Number 66: Master Key Beetle", and "Number 53: Heart-eartH".

• Since the monster equipped with this card cannot attack directly, one good idea is to equip it to a monster able to inflict piercing damage, for example "Strong Wind Dragon". In this way, you can be almost completely sure to inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points in every battle, even if you attack a monster in Defense Position.
• This card works well with "Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman", as it already cannot attack directly by its own effect.
• Watch out for "Storming Mirror Force," it neither destroys nor targets so it's an out to this card.
