• Even if you chain it to Life Point boosting cards, you can't get anything other than a Draw from this card, so be sure that you use it only if you expect to lose.

• You may easily activate this card by using Wall of Revealing Light. You'll decrease to 1000 LPs, during your opponent's 1st turn, thus enabling the condition of this card, causing a DRAW immediately.

• In a "Six Samurai" Deck, use this card with "Backs to the Wall".

• You can use the card "The Eye of Truth" to give your opponent life points making this card a little safer to use as you won't need to be at critical life points to activate it.

• The various video games occasionally challenge the player to get a draw instead of winning or losing. Self-Destruct Button is generally the easiest way of doing that.

• Use the effect of "Inspection" multiple times during your opponent's Standby Phase to reduce your Life Points to a sufficient amount.

• Use this card to draw out if your opponent tries to damage you after you summon The Winged Dragon of Ra.

• This card also works well with Psychics as an emergency if your opponent stops your traps and synchros.
