- This card is very effective in a Fire Burn Deck that utilizes Lava Golem, or in Fire Beatdown decks as well. Use this card to chain any cards your opponent use that may either destroy or control your fire monsters to deal damage to your opponent while they wasted their card.
- This card can also be used as a finishing move in many FIRE beatdown decks.
- Use Lava Golem and either Remove Brainwashing, Brain Control, Enemy Controller, or Hiita the Fire Charmer's to bring this card to your side of the field. After you special summon it will not only get rid of 2 of your opponent's monsters, but also allow you to attack with Lava Golem, then use Spiritual Fire Art - Kurenai to tribute it for 3000 damage during your opponent's end phase. This way Lava Golem will protect your life points during your opponent's turn, and you won't suffer its 1000 damage burn during your turn. If your opponent tries to activate anything that targets Lava Golem, chain Spiritual Fire Art - Kurenai to tribute the monster and deal 3000 damage to your opponent as well as causing a target loss.
