- This card can be either the most useful Monarch or the least useful Monarch, depending on your philosophy. You have no control over which card your opponent discards, so there's no guarantee that what you made them lose was vital, and any burn damage will be slight.
- Flip your Set "Penguin Soldier" to return 2 monsters your opponent controls to the hand, then Tribute it for this card, to also increase your chances of activating the burn effect successfully.
- Use "Macro Cosmos" to banish the discarded card.
