This card can be used vary effectively against a deck that uses heavy Graveyard effects like "Sun Dragon Inti" and "Moon Dragon Quilla, or almost all searchers. This card is also slightly better then monsters that share this cards negation effect as this can give that effect to any monster and give it 500 more ATK.
