This card's effect is similar to "Junk Synchron", "Black Salvo", "Alien Ammonite", and "Debris Dragon" to easily fulfill the summoning conditions for a Synchro Summon of a certain Synchro Monster. Also, they're all Tuner monsters.

This card's name comes from the type of storm known as a blizzard, a type of severe snowstorm; hence the "Far North" ("North Pole" in OCG) portion of the name.
