- This card bears a strong resemblance to Ganondorf, the central recuring antagonist from The Legend of Zelda video game series. Note the black armor, the big sword and orange hair. He also bears a resemblance to Ganondorf's undead counterpart, Phantom Ganon. The art style of his head also makes him resemble Ghost Rider.
- This card may be a counterpart of Blade Knight, whose ATK can also be increased by manipulating the cards in your hand.
- This monster may also be a counterpart of Field-Commander Rahz, as both are support for Warrior and DARK Decks, respectively.
