• This card bears a strong resemblance to Ganondorf, the central recurring antagonist from The Legend of Zelda video game series. Note the black armor, the big sword and orange hair. He also bears a resemblance to Ganondorf's undead counterpart, Phantom Ganon. The art style of his head also makes him resemble Ghost Rider.

• This card may be a counterpart of "Blade Knight", whose ATK can also be increased by manipulating the cards in your hand.
  • This monster may also be a counterpart of "Field-Commander Rahz", as both are support for Warrior and DARK Decks, respectively.

• This card's effect is similar to that of "Vanguard of the Dragon" and also "Destiny HERO - Dunker".
