• Legionnaire refers to a member of a legion, especially the French Foreign Legion. It was also a term used for soldiers of the [1], wich may be the origin for this cards name, since [2] has a name that means "leader" in latim, the roman language.

• This card's effect is quite similar to Evocator Chevalier's; It is watered down and only works with Dragunity Dragon cards, however.
