- This monster, as well as Elemental Hero Neos and Neo Space Pathfinder most likely derives from the Tokusatsu Ultraman genre, or possibly Guyver.
- "Alius" is Latin for "another".
- Most people assume that this card is Elemental Hero Neos' younger self. But since this card's name literally translates into "another" Neos, it is possible that this card is not Elemental Hero Neos himself, or possibly his side-kick.
- This card is one of the non-fusion Elemental Heroes with lots of utility. Its 1900 ATK made it a good beatstick, its LIGHT attribute made it able to use Honest's effect, its Warrior type and Elemental Hero archetype made it searchable via Elemental Hero Stratos, E - Emergency Call, and Reinforcement of the Army. Finally, it's Gemini sub-type made it able to use the effects of Gemini Spark and Hero Blast.
