- "Flame Ghost" has a counterpart "Molten Zombie".
- The sum of the ATK and DEF of "Flame Ghost" is less than the sum of the ATK and DEF of "Dissolverock", making Flame Ghost arguably weaker than one of its Fusion Material Monsters, it shares this trait with Fusionist.
- Coincidentally, both are the weakest non-effect Fusion Monsters.
- "Flame Ghost" has only 100 more ATK than "Fusionist", which has the lowest ATK of all non-effect Fusion Monsters.
- Charubin the Fire Knight only has 100 more attack than Flame Ghost making it the third weakest non-effect Fusion monster.
