- This card has an "evil" synergistic, anime-only counterpart known as "Disgraceful Charity".
- During Summer 2005, this card was part of a Forbidden three card combo known as The Trinity.
- This card became Forbidden because it would give the player a great hand advantage, as well as a Graveyard advantage. The introduction of the "Dark World" archetype was what brought the most of this card; most of the Dark World cards' effects activate went cards are discarded from the hand to the Graveyard because of an effect.
- Another reason why this card is Forbidden because it can send high level monsters to the Graveyard like "Blue Eyes White Dragon" just to easily be brought back to the field with cards like "Monster Reborn", "Call of the Haunted", and "Premature Burial", especially on the same turn.
