- This monster's design is based on a popular game in Japan, known as "Kendama Ball", or "Sword and Ball".
- It also resembles a three dimensional dagger glyph in certain fonts such as Times New Roman.
- This monster appears in the artwork of "Speed Recovery".
- During the manzai omake of episode 54, Zuzu Boyle calls this card a kendama monster, with Yugo angrily correcting her that it is called "Maken Dharma". Ironically, the TCG name of this card is "Hi-Speedroid Kendama".
- In the Shonen Jump poll to determine which of four cards should be released as a Shonen Jump promotional card, it was named "Hyperspeedroid Dahma".
